  Yes. SZCNT provides fully customized connector solutions based on customer requirements for rated current and voltage, IP protection grade, housing material, contact count, mating interface and harness assembly.

  Because R&D, tooling, plating and assembly are all handled in house, a custom project can move from drawing review to sample delivery without third-party dependencies. Send a 2D/3D drawing or a sample of the connector you are replacing and our engineers will return a feasibility assessment and quotation.

• QAre SZCNT connectors RoHS and UL compliant?

  Most SZCNT series comply with RoHS environmental standards, and selected models are rated to UL94-V0 flame-retardant grade. Certification coverage differs by series and part number, so please refer to the corresponding datasheet or request the compliance documents for the exact model you are evaluating.

  
  

• QCan SZCNT connectors replace imported connectors from overseas brands?

  Selected SZCNT series are designed to be inter-mateable with, and directly interchangeable for, mainstream overseas connector models, which allows drop-in replacement without redesigning the mating equipment.

  Compatibility is confirmed model by model. Provide the original manufacturer part number, or send a physical sample, and our engineering team will complete a dimensional and electrical matching evaluation before quoting.

• QCan SZCNT supply complete cable assemblies and wire harnesses, not just connectors?

  Yes. SZCNT supplies connectors together with fully assembled cable harnesses, including cable selection, crimping or soldering, over-moulding, shielding termination and continuity testing.

  Buying the connector and the harness from one supplier removes assembly-quality risk at the interface and shortens your own production line, which is particularly useful for energy-storage cabinets, medical devices and new-energy-vehicle assemblies.

  
  

• QHow do I choose between push-pull, threaded and bayonet locking connectors?

  A

  Choose the locking style according to vibration level, available space and assembly speed. Threaded locking gives the strongest anti-vibration hold and is preferred for continuous-vibration equipment; push-pull self-locking gives one-hand, tool-free mating for frequent plug-and-unplug applications; bayonet locking sits in between and is optimized for fast, repeatable assembly on production lines.

  As a general rule: heavy vibration and outdoor exposure favour threaded (SZCNT12, SZCNT14, SZCNT53); frequent mating and limited hand access favour push-pull (SZCNT02, SZCNT07, SZCNT13, SZCNT58); high-volume vehicle assembly favours bayonet (SZCNT56).

  
  

• QWhat IP rating do I need for my application?

  IP65 resists dust and low-pressure water jets, IP67 withstands temporary immersion, and IP68 withstands continuous immersion under defined pressure. Outdoor, washdown, marine and vehicle-underbody applications should specify IP67 or IP68; controlled indoor cabinets can normally use IP50 to IP65.

  The rating is only maintained when the connector is fully mated and locked, the sealing gasket is intact, and the cable outer diameter matches the specified clamping range.
